It's today! And, it even has a website! Check it out here. To celebrate this world wide card making day, I sent out card kits to four people, to hold an online workshop on this very blog. Here's a snapshot of the kits:
They all had the same amount of paper and accessories, but were all a little different in regards to the texture of the cardstock (I punched and crinkled various pieces) as well as what the accessories and Designer Papers were in the kits.
So, without furthur ado, Happy Cardmaking Day and thank you for participating! If you are just stopping in today, want to participate, but don't have a kit, please join us anyways. Sit down, make a card and leave us a note to your blog site where you have posted up your card. We would love for you to play along. I will do my best to get all the cards submitted up and displayed today!

Hi Carmen,
I have emailed you two cards. This was difficult for me because I didn't end up having much time to plan out my cards. I am happy with how they turned out though.
Happy Card making!
All done! I really enjoyed making the cards from the preset supplies. Thanks for putting this together!
i have finished my World Card Making Day card(s), i was able to also make two cards and i am happy with how one of them turned out but not so happy with the other, well you win some, you loose some. here is the link to my blog with the cards:

Awesome cards everyone! It's pretty neat to see how they all turned out using (essentially) the same supplies. Next time I'll get one made - I promise! If it helps, I had only created four kits, and would have had to remember what was all in them (which late on a Saturday night could have been a challenge....)
