Thanks again to everyone who participated this past week - and a welcome to Tracy who joined us with a card submission for the first time. She will be receiving a little treat from me from the newest Stampin' Up catalogue!
I have decided to make a few changes as to how the Card Challenges operate. First, I really enjoyed giving away a little prize, so I have decided to do this monthly. Basically, the more challenges you participate in, the more chances you will have to win the prize that month! Each card submission gives you one entry into the prize draw. I will draw a name at the end of each month and announce the winner :)
And lastly, I know everyone was fond of the challenge happening on a two week cycle with one lag week in between, but I am wondering if that is perhaps the reason that more aren't participating... that they are scared about the voting part? Could you please all drop me a note here and let me know your thoughts? I am contemplating switching it to a weekly card challenge cycling every Monday. I will still keep a post up on the side with a link to a gallery so all the cards can continue to be viewed. For that reason, until I hear back from everyone, there will be no voting on card challenge #3 at this point in time.

hmm...I like the idea of weekly and I can take or leave the voting. My $0.02
wow if there is a challenge every week I would not be able to do them all! ha ha! I like the every 2 week thing, so whatever! and I like the voting too, but it dosen't matter!! If you do away with the voting the person you draw who wins the prize their card could be displayed for the week!
agreed the voting could be what is scaring away other people and i can take or leave it. i would love to do weekly challenges because it tests my skills and forces me to get cards made.
Personally, weekly is too much for me. You may get less entries doing it that way, because those who cannot get it done on a weekly basis will pick and choose the challenges they want to do. As for the voting, I think it is kind of fun. I think we just need to spread the word to get more entries!
I'm open for whatever you are the orginazier thinks is best. When I firt decided to do this I thought every two weeks was great, but then yesterday when Iw as putting in my vote I found myself thinking it would be nice if the next challenge was up and I could get my mind going. On the voting, it is all in fun. Do what you thing is best. I personly like knowing what cards were thought to be more creative, and where peoples minds are.
I like the idea of weekly, just so I can get my butt into gear and make more cards! :) The voting is no big deal for me, I just like to see what everyone created.
